“A New Kind of Christian” was a game changing book for me in a first phase of deconstruction. I wanna say that was 2004-2005? I’ve got a couple of his more recent books on my TBR (“Do I Stay Christian?” and “Faith After Doubt”).
Between him and Greg Boyd (who Crds used to have in regularly as a guest speaker), my brain was rocked in that ‘04-‘09 span. I’m so grateful for both of them.
